Making my token appearance!

Hello to all! For those of you who know me, I love you all and missed you. To those of you who don’t know me, I’m part of the original forum clan (at least I think I’m considered part of that group?) from whay back when….aka the “back in MY day….and we were greatful for it!” cronies.

Anyway, again I must apologize for my long absince, once again real life has been consuming most of my time.

So just a little update for those of you who are interested. I am still in school, now going for an MBA or something, switch from an EE degree becuase the 60+ hours of homework a week were stressing me into too many migraines and doing bad things for my already bad back. Now the work loads are much easier to manage and I don’t spend quite so much down time sick in bed. My back is still messed up and the status quo hasn’t changed. Louis (Phil the Dragon) and I are still happily together and still on our prolonged engagement (don’t worry I’ll be sure to post when the big day comes around in a couple of years). He is doing well but still stressed with working and going to school for a physical therapy degree in kinesiology (or however you spell it).

We have finally succeeded in our hand at reptile husbandry and got the right conditions for hatching our gecko and bearded dragon eggs after 3 years. (apparently the top of a mini fridge whose compressor shakes violently when it turns over is NOT a good place for the incubator….something about eggtinis…./sigh) We have hatched a total of 6 leopard geckos, and 19 bearded dragons so far. There were 14 in the first clutch of dragons and 5 in the most recent that made it. We also have 13 more dragon eggs that were just laid. I will try and get pictures posted to Photobucket and get a link on here at some point.

To anyone that has tried to PM me in the last 6/7 months I am sorry I did not get back to you, apparently I didn’t have the feature turned on that sent me an e-mail saying I had a PM and so was not aware that I had messages.

Other than that nothing much is new. Hope every one here is doing well, that life is treating them with pleasant surprises and the economy hasn’t ruined too much. Much love to everyone old and new!
