Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).
I went and got hooked on dragcave.net a few months ago… and I know I’ve seen other posters here with little familiar eggs in their signature lines!
So, who are you? What’s your scroll like? (Does it have a theme? Does it have similarities with your Windstone collection?) Do you name your dragons, and if so, what kind of names do you use? Is there any dragon you want “THE MOST”?
Me: My “collection” started out all female, though I’ve slightly modified this to become “all female, except where the sexes differ — in which case I will have one of each.” I do name all my dragons; I use fantasy names (Rylliana, Taunoa, Jiyo, etc.), and each “species” of dragon has names starting with a different letter of the alphabet. I’m hoping I won’t run out of letters by the time I get all the ones I want!
Speaking of ones I want, does anyone want to give me a male Silver hatchling? I don’t really have much worth trading, but my Two-headed dragons have produced an egg before, so I could breed them for you. Or I have a (white) Striped egg that I don’t need, since my first one gendered correctly.
I have a Silver female, but she hates me and is uninterested in every male I try her with. (Clearly, she takes after me too much!) Thus I am forced to rely upon the kindness of strangers… and I know the WE forums has the best and kindest of strangers. 🙂 (I also yearn for a Gold…)
(Edit: I could also breed you a colored stripe, now that my White one has grown! He’s already produced *two* blue eggs for me, so clearly he’s not going to be insanely picky like my Silver! )
I kind of want to start a new scroll so I can name a bunch of dragons with Discworld-style names, e.g. “Lord Mountjoy Talonthrust III of Ankh” — too bad having multiple scrolls is against the rules. Oh, well! Maybe I can talk a friend into doing it for me… or just wait till I have the whole alphabet used up and they come out with more new dragons. 🙂

I’ve got a scroll. I’m going for at least one male and female of each species and possibly frozen hatchlings of each gender.
In regards to your silver female not breeding for you, the metallic ratios were messed up for a while and they were more prolific when it came to breeding than they were supposed to so TJ had to readjust things so you are less likely to breed a metallic egg right now. Hopefully things will get better soon and breeding will pick back up slightly.
I also have a scroll My theme is to get a male and female of each type as well as a hatchling of each pose (for example, the black alternate has two poses, so I will be getting one of each). I organize my scroll in a rainbow pattern. Right now I am trying for a purple dino, a green dino, and a cheese dragon. I have not had any luck with these. If I get a gold or silver I will let you know!!

I screw up some times and get un wanted dups but I don’t have the heart to abandom most of them. I think I have only abandonded 2 in the time I have had my scroll and only lost 2, a paper one and I have no idea what the 2nd one was.
I still need a cheese, the color striped ones from breeding, and a purple Dino and I need to know if there are alt Black ones out there at present. I have one from a LONG time ago but not recently???
My scroll is just a mess of what I got at the time trying for one of eachI go for a male and female of each type and at least two of the special dragons that come out on the holidays.
I’m an addict and an artist(in the future) over there 😛 (avatar is a seckret, so hush-hush please) I name all of my dragons with fantasy names, and almost all of them have a surname ‘of Nakas’ I also have sorted my dragons into a pattern: speacial holiday dragons first then the rest are in a rainbow(as close as I can get)
I’m working on getting all the species thus far, 2females and 2 males of each plus a hatchling of each gender.
The Ascendance project is coming along nicely, and so I’ll need one of each gender/speces to Ascend when the action is implemented.
Also there is another project underway where the species that have one sprite for both genders, like blacks and whites, etc will be getting a new pose for one of the genders…however this project has been going on for quite some time, and is hidden from public view, it’s not much of a seckret 😛

Black alts and vine alts still exsist. You just can’t tell from looking at the egg anymore. You have to breed to get them and then wait until the hatchling emerges to know for sure if you got an alt.
Hey, DragonMaster, I can breed any color stripe you like! (In theory, anyway!) And I’m certainly willing to try, if you want me to. Red? Blue? Green?
If you have any Golds or Silvers and would be willing to try for an egg for me, I’d call that fair. 🙂
I have one “wrong” dragon that I didn’t have the heart to abandon, because I’d already named him; but I’m usually ruthless. 🙂 If they gender wrong, they’re out! Of course, I’m pretty sure they’re not going to die, so that’s part of it — they go to the Abandoned page, and I’ve noticed that hatchlings on there vanish *very* quickly!
