It’s a hate/love/hate/hate/annoyance/necessary evil thing. Facebook has become a hub for me again, so if you’re looking to talk to me, you should add me over there.
Just two things I ask … one, put your forum username in the invite so I know who you are, as I’m not on a first name basis with most people here, and two, please don’t send me application invites, as I won’t respond to them. Applications are a huge reason I hate Facebook, with all the spam. I do play Restaurant City, but will ignore anything else.

Feel free to post up your Facebooks in this thread too, if it stays as a FB thread I’ll sticky it.

Personally, I don’t like these larger forums like MySpace, Facebook and whatever–just too many people for me! I like forums like this one–at least we all have one thing in common–WINDSTONES and we appreciate art! I know people who actually feel superior because they have all these ‘friends’ on these forums! Yeah, right! Virtual friends who are here today and gone tomorrow. I actually had one woman send me a nasty email telling me off because I hadn’t contacted her for a while–didn’t want to–she was whacked! :twisted:[Long story!] Never even met her and she’s mad because I didn’t get in touch with her! Like WTF move on and get over it! 😮 👿
I realize I have the same thing here–not really knowing some of these people but there is something different on this forum–there is caring! I mean there are raffles to help raise money for someone when they’re down and all sorts of people going out of there way to help each other. Man, did I land in a good place! 😀
To me facebook and myspace aren’t forums…they are dating sites. I used to have a myspace page, but I’ve torn everything off it and tried to delete it, but I can’t click the confirmation email because hotmail eats it (just like hotmail eats the confirmation email I would need to change emails). I got tired of the crap associated with myspace and aside from a few pictures on my sister-in-law and brother-in-laws pages from their wedding I couldn’t care less.
My mom keeps trying to convince me to create a family facebook page, but I haven’t given in yet. I just think it’s funny that all my friends that used to be on myspace have all migrated to facebook and no longer update myspace for the most part. I can see them moving on the the next big thing whenever it comes along as well.
I have Facebook primarily to keep in touch with family. They are all in Michigan and we live in Georgia.
