Yippey!! We will be getting a brand spanking new 24″ iMac tomorrow. Fully loaded and they will do all the file transfers too.
No more having the stupid computer we have randomly restarting every so often!! I’m about ready to chuck this pile of cr@p out the window. 🙄 It has restarted itself 8 times so far today. For no particular reason and usually just as I’m trying to do something. And no, it isn’t the same something every time, nor is it at any specific time or time period thereof. Just whenever it freakin’ feels like it. 😈

Mine is okay but, now for some random reason I can’t stay connected to the internet for more than a few minutes. At this point I believe it’s the firewall. It seems to be blocking everything no matter what. I’ve even tried putting it on “allow all” mode. So, I guess I’ll be uninstalling it and then re-installing it tomorrow. Hopefully if it’s not that then I’ll be able to stay online long enough to update the program again… (Fun, fun, fun)

Congradulation on the new pc! Sounds like your old one has a mind of its own! 😮 I’ve heard Macs are great especially when it comes to grahpics! Good that they are transferring your files over as well. To me, that would be the biggest headache–all the stuff you have on your old hard drive and getting all of it into your new one.

It’s sooooo purty. They’ve changed the casing so it’s brushed metal as opposed to the original white plastic. But we’re definitely going to need a new desk cause I’m having to sit pretty far back and typing is hard on the wrists if you’re pretty much at arms length. I love it so far though. 😀
And hubby got a new Cintiq Tablet but can’t use it yet cause the connector isn’t the proper one so we’re going shopping again tomorrow. Otherwise, he’s all excited too. 😆
