that Jade Scratcher off ebay? went for a decent price and mint in box!

i took a stab at it but it went for neerly double my max bid.
I wanted it because it had orange eyes, the seller told me, but I couldn’t afford it, but check out what my friend got today…

the photos in the link i posted at top look like red eyes to me. did he really say they were orange????????
dang, that is a good price for an emerald scratcher. every one trying to bid on that Jade I supose.
I didn’t see a Jade, but I could have afforded it anyway…but I did want orange eyes, because I never cared for the red eyes myself.
I tried letting another forum member know about it : saw it in the “most coveted” thread that they wanted one…maybe they got it?

I had seen it, but didn’t want to post about it; I think it’s caused a problem in the past when members drew attention to those kind of auctions, but I forget the circumstances. 49ER, they looked like red eyes to me, too.
I grabbed that jade scratcher. I’ve been fretting over the auction so much this week I actually had a dream about the auction last night(i’m a nerd). I love my scratchers, I can’t wait to see him!! I actually have another jade scratcher that I bought from someone on the forum that was supposed to be mint and wasn’t(the bad experience kinda taints getting a piece IMO). I’ll probably be selling the non-mint one after I get the mint one if anyone is interested.

I was wondering if that was jade or if someone had painted extra gold on it. I was comparing the colors from different scratchers and really couldn’t decide one way or the other. Probably the picture of the scratcher washed out the true color.
I’m glad it went that high… I forgot to watch the end “just in case” and was hoping it didn’t go for $70! 😀I’m glad he has a great home!
