Sure I can put some of the old pictures up I just thought people would think it weird to use a picture of a deceased dog. They will have to be last years pictures, of course. Does anybody have any objections?
I have thought about another chow. In fact Tristen’s breeder sent me an email and this is what she said
“Hi Joyce,
I miss getting your photos of Tristen for the holidays…….I was thinking of you this morning and wondered if you might consider adopting another chow… not as a replacement for Tristen, but as a companion to fill the void? I have a really really nice female “puppy” who is 8 months old — actually she will be 9 months old next week. She is really really sweet and much smaller than Tristen. Harold and I have been keeping her as a pet even though we don’t plan to show her. She has that very special personality and we really want her to go to just the right home. I have actually been holding her with your name on her since you lost Tristen even though you and I haven’t discussed you having another dog.
I just wanted you to know you’ve been on my mind — you and Tristen.

Yes, yes, the pictures with Tristen in them are my favorite! IIt is actually too painful to see the pictures without Triten in them!
Happy Father’s Day! Does anybody want to share what the did for their hubbies, fathers, etc? I can’t do anything for KC until next week, and I would like to get some ideas! Plus, I like to read the stories! 🙂Aww, I’m a newcomer but that is a very sweet-looking Chow. I’m sorry you lost him–it sounds like he was very loved. How kind of the breeder to be thinking of you.
Hm, I was feeling down today, a little left out, so I wrote an e-mail to my friend/ex-bf’s dad to tell him how much I admired him. I’m sure he wasn’t expecting it, but he is an amazing man, and I still love his son more than anything (5 years after we split). I wouldn’t love David so much were it not for his father, Steven, and how much love he put into his children.
We didn’t do to much for my husband this year as we were a little burned out with his brother getting married yesterday. We gave him cards and a dvd set that he was really wanting that we managed to snag on sale for half price.
