Hi everyone! I geuninely hate to do this.. I have a lump in my stomach just writing this post. I don’t have many Windstones and I genuinely treasure and cherish each one, so selling these is a super depressing thing.
I’ll spare the long sob story, but in a nutshell if I don’t come up with a few $k soon then they are probably gonna clearcut and burn the woods behind my house (the woods being one of the biggest reasons for buying this home). As I’m sure you can infer from my work, nature is wildly important to me and it might sound silly, but them taking away my little piece of zen would really devastate me.. 🙁
EDIT: 8/17/09 – Sold / On hold.First the most common fella. This is a lovely, mint, NIB gold spectral. He’s so pretty, a lovely buttery metallic gold with that awesome dark brown stripe. He’s got a really nice purple interference sheen on him, and has the prettiest spectral eyes of all my pieces (I’ve noticed each is slightly different).
He is mint as mint gets, comes with his original box, hang tag, and has only ever lived in my home with no smoking and no pets with fur.
This is a current piece, and as not to compete with Windstone since they are kind enough to employ me, I am asking $172.00.Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com

June 9, 2009 at 12:53 am #767592awe. yeah, I know the nature issue. I would feel the same way. lol, it drives me nuts currently living with a little teeny fenced in backyard.
I wish i had some money to offer on one of these. I just baught some prints from Hibbary to help her with her mold issue and with out a regular job…….other wise i really would put in an offer if i had the funds. I hope they sell really well Nam.
June 9, 2009 at 1:03 am #767593I’m so sorry you have to sell, Nam. I totally understand the need for trees and nature to. It seems like any little patch of forest where I live ends up being cut down for some commercial devlopment, and God forbid you have a nice field 😡 . I PM’d you. I hope you can come up with the cash you need to save your trees.
June 9, 2009 at 1:46 am #767594I’m sorry you have to sell, Jennifer. It seems the little nature left is being clear-cut everywhere for new development. Hasn’t the housing bubble burst?
I’m really tempted on that Old Warrior…
June 9, 2009 at 4:20 am #767595I’m very sorry you have to sell your treasures! I can definitely sympathise with the cause though; we’ve seen a housing development and a trailer home go up nearby in the last decade or so back home, and every year brings new rounds of neon flagging tape to the forest just beyond our property line. We have red-tailed hawks nesting in those trees, foxes, deer, and the OAKS. We have absolutely gigantic oak trees that tower above everything, and I shudder at the thought of someone cutting them down for housing. Not to mention the whole region is crisscrossed with stone walls that were used to designate property boundaries and roadways during the Colonial era. I suppose people need places to live of course, but still, my heart goes out to you. Best of luck in saving your wild backyard!
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!

June 9, 2009 at 6:01 am #767597Whoa! I’m really sorry you have to resort to selling Windstones, Nam. E-mailing you…
June 9, 2009 at 11:47 pm #767598I work at a nature center so I totally understand the need for wilderness. Don’t get me started on the evils of clear cutting, I’d never get off my soapbox. Build around the trees, people! 😡
I wish I could afford it right now (I would even pay you extra). Best of luck to you in your sales! (((hugs)))
June 9, 2009 at 11:53 pm #767599Maybe we could do a benefit raffle to help you out? What do you guys think? 😕
