Hey guys – just a quick note – won’t be around as much during the next week or so – I’ve gotta get my foot whacked on, yes again, tomorrow. They want me at the surgical center at 7:00 a.m. in Utah about 3-ish hours from home. They’ll remove a cyst from the bone behind my big toe, move a metatarsal head back where it belongs and remove the titanium plate and screws… I popped one of the screws out of the plate about 3 weeks ago, so that needs to be taken care of 🙄
So, besides being a ditzy blonde, I also have a screw loose… 😈 Seriously 😈 I don’t know when they’ll let me go back home yet and in the mean time I’ll have limited computer time… Wish me luck – the more I do this the scared-ier I get 🙄

You’ll be fine.
I personally have had too many surgeries in my life.
May 5, 2009 at 10:29 pm #763802Hope it goes well and smoothly and you heal quickly! (And don’t need to go back!)

You are too funny! 😆 But a sense of humor is good for times like this. 🙂You’ll recover in no time! Just bring a book or something so you don’t go insane from not having anything to do while recovering. With my family, it was always AFTER the surgery that drove us nuts. 😈
Take care, and see you soon!
May 5, 2009 at 11:06 pm #763804Good luck.
Be careful with that loose screw thing. My aunt had on get loose. I poked a tiny hole in the bottom of her foot and she got MRSA. She kept the foot but lost the big toe. Not meaning to scare you, just warn you. If your foot hurts and swells up go to the hospital.

Love yaMay 6, 2009 at 3:01 am #763810Good luck! Will they really keep you in the hospital?
I’m going to have the bones removed on both my feet (different surgeries) but they are outpatient surgeries. Cut you up and send you out! Though they say I can’t leave my house for two weeks as they are afraid of bone infections. So I have put them off until the end of the year as I just can’t spare the time!
At any rate… Hope all goes smoothly!May 6, 2009 at 8:28 pm #763811Hugs Babe. I’m sure you’ll be fine!!
