My BF said he wants to declare bankruptcy and could bring me down with him according to a friend of mine…. 😮
That is not fair! All my bills are paid on time and I’m not included in his decisions when he decides to purchase stuff so how can they hold me responcible? 😡

If you’re not married, and your name isn’t on anything, there’s nothing he can do. period.

No we are not married but we file common-law for income tax.
I don’t have anything now but maybe by the end of the week I’ll have my own car….Lenora’s bf found one for me.

No and I made sure to tell him from the beginning to never think of putting my name on anything.
I don’t think he suspects anything yet about me leaving…I’ve even told him I would like to repaint and paint the door outside.OMG! Thank you Lokie for those links….I feel so releived right now…you can not imagine how much…

I am also out of the news loop, as I am a forum newbie… but girl, you definitely have my support!
My sister just filed for separation and is going for full custody. It’s a mess, but she feels so much freer now that she has her life back and is no longer stuck in that situation. People who manipulate and threaten like that are worst than dirt. Now I am all fired up! 😡
