Hey guys if some of you are in the same area as this store you might find a deal on curios…they are closing.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CAthis is in my area, it’s actually the area I dispatch for at at&t, but they are closed ion Sunday and Monday and the 30th is so close I bet they are all sold out of Windstones. I’m going to try and remember to call them Tuesday
It’s sad to see these stores closing. I think DM’s right: all their Windstones are probably gone by now. Thank you for the heads up, BDW!
I live about an hour or so away from this place. I emailed them to see what they have but i wont get my hopes up yet.
The only local store around here that sold Windstones just went out of business too. 😥 Now I don’t know if ANY stores that sell them near me. *sniff* At least I got a Emerald Peacock Young Dragon for half off 🙂

My art: featherdust.comThe last big dealer I remember was JBJ in Champaign. They had a wall dedicated to them, but they closed before my grandmother passed. Back in 2000, I think. It was a neat little shop with all kinds of collectibles from stuffed animals, to the Disney statues to Windstone, stationary, etc.
I’d imagine when the economy comes ’round again, more will open up, but watching them fail is tough.
Yeah, my local shops (Baker street) just put the last of their inventory on ebay. I sent them a message asking if they were closing or just letting go of the WIndstone line. Their reply was brief and to the point. They don’t know anymore. Since they moved out of the mall, their sales have tapered off drastically, and with the economy, I have the feeling the only 2 stores I knew within an hour of me, will not be carrying them anymore. 🙁 4 years ago, I lost the other store I went to all the time…I don’t know whatever happened to her. She was there one week, and then gone the next. 😥
OK. Just got back. The store has no signs that I could see that said 75% off of anything. Windstones were marked down 30%. They had empea emperor, empea mother, empea young, mother unicorn, and young unicorn. All were marked at store prices with an additional 30% off.
They had a ton of Harmony Kingdom that was 40% off. Very tempting, but I stayed strong! So not as exciting as I hoped. I didn’t talk to anyone so I don’t know if they ship or not. I don’t think he’s going to be gone by Thursday…The emperor is no longer available 😛 and if you talk nice to them, they will ship. 8)
