I can’t believe it! There was a brown mother on ebay I was watching and I wasn’t feeling good this morning. I was afraid to use the proxy bidding as I would get outbid. I planned on being online at the end. I wasn’t there and she went for $41.62. There was finally one I could afford and I blwe my chance. You know the odds of another one coming around at that price aren’t likely. I am sooo pissed off at myself. I can’t wait to have the surgery Tuesday and get this over with. If I hadn’t been miserable, I’d have remembered and I bet I could of gotten her. Not only would she have been my first dragon purchase in years, but it would have been the replacement for my original mother! I can’t put into words how upset I am, My hands are shaking! Okay, enough of a tantrum. It isn’t going to change things. Maybe it just really isn’t meant for me to adding to what I have. I would apologize for the rant, but if I am honest with myself, I knew that was what would happen if I started typing. Thanks for listening.

🙁 Sorry you missed it…they do come up once in a while. 🙂

Beth, I have one, she is still in need of some major repair, but I got her cheap with the plan to restore her. So if you don’t mind hanging there for a bit, I can add her to my list of stuff to do, and when she is repaired I can give you a heads up she that is available to a new home with you.

              Kyrin,

Thanks for the offer. I do have the original mother I bought back in the 80’s. She was “injured” a number of years back; my heart still skips a beat when I think about it. I have wanted to replace her all these years but there were always other priorities.

A few months back Melody suggested I contact you about the possibility of repairing her. I did send you a few emails, but that was when your dad first took ill. As I know you were already backlogged, I thought I should just keep trying to replace her. Realistically, even had I been online there is no guarantee I would have won her, but just knowing she sold for so little is painful!

The best thing for me to do is get on your waitlist. If I can get her fixed, so much the better. She has been with me a long time. I have the mother, the male, the youth (who I just noticed has a chuck out of his wing!) and the hatchling. They are all the original brown from the 80’s. There are so many new dragons in the old brown that I need to start saving my pennies so maybe I can get them sometime in the future.

I keep asking myself why I couldn’t have fallen in love with a wealthy guy. It would have made life so much easier.

Karas, I’m sorry you missed out on that dragon. I hope you Kyrin can fix your original mother for you. Good luck with your surgery.
