Does anyone know who owns this peice or how it came to be? Was it a gift to a forum member or friend from the factory? I dont remember the original auction. If anyone knows, please let me know. Its really pretty.
Breaking my eyes on the seller’s scan of the letter that came with the dragon. 😉 I can make out ‘October’ but not what year, and it’s the ‘normal’ Old Warrior sculpt, not the ‘prototype’ where the wing touches the neck, and it was a test paint as she was trying out possible production colors, but used the yellow eyes to distinguish him from the ‘normal’ red eyes golds that came out in production. That’s what I could make out, anyway! 🙂

I painted him in Ca. but we shipped it from Oregon. The person who got it on ebay is a collector, but I’m not sure he is a forum member. I do know that this collector is fastidious in the care of his pieces!

He may not have been auctioned. I don’t know his story, but I don’t remember him either… he may have been sold or gifted outright… might never have been on eBay before now!
