The skeleton of the site I designed and am developing is up and I need test subjects.

        Aibo Hospital

Click around and make sure it all works properly on your comp? The design has already been approved, but if you have thoughts on that, I can use them for future projects. Constructive crits (as in, what’s wrong to you and why) are always a boon.

E-cookies to you for your participation. 😉

        Oooh cookies! 😉

Clicked around and everything worked fine for me. I like the layout, though of course the background makes me think ‘Matrix.’ Looks like it’s real straightforward and easy to navigate around. 🙂

I have a think for straightforward on the web. I hate going to those fancy Flash sites with the navigation system that I have to have directions to to use.

I am totally with you on that. Too much flash and other ‘frills’ drive me crazy. 🙄

Looked pretty good to me too. Only funky thing I saw was a few typos (“knew” instead of “new”) in the job tracking as well as some of the comments being “centered” rather than “justified” on X-Dog’s page (started at DFG09B). There’s also no explination for a casual observer of what some of the abbreviations mean (DHS, PAS and TAS) …but that’s not really important as the site isn’t really intended for people who wouldn’t know that they mean anyway.

It seemed pretty easy to navigate for me too. Everything worked on my browser (firefox). I’m assuming that most of the sidebar links are supposed to come up with the general “We’ll have this up soon” message (not exactly quoted)? The affiliates and the job tracking came up with exterior links. Everything else had the message.

It looks clean, the graphic on the page (of the robotic dog, I’m assuming) is kinda hard to tell what it is, though. Not enough contrast from the background, methinks. If that’s their graphic then feel free to ignore me.

            *takes an E-cookie*

I can’t do much about the job tracking typos, since they’re Excel-turned-HTML files by the gal that actually does the Aibo repairs. I haven’t yet come up with a system for those that’s more feasible for her, since she doesn’t know any HTML/CSS. This is a pretty specialized site in that the folks who go to the job tracking page and look at those explanations will know immediately what those abbreviations are. (DHS = Droopy head syndrome, PAS = Pan axis slip, etc)

Same goes for the graphic in the upper corner, it’s an ERS-7 Aibo model that looks sort of like a robot Snoopy. An Aibo owner will know exactly what he is. I expected a little bit of confusion since the site *is* so specialized (If I did an outline of an Old Warrior in a similar style, how many of us on this forum would recognize it immediately?). 🙂 But I appreciate your comments anyway.

I didn’t go and validate any of the code yet, so I’m pleased that it looks like I won’t have to to find errors. 8)

haha I thought it was an animal hospital site 😆 and I couldn´t figure out why they said repairs, until I saw the pics of the robo doggies, (maybe I should read more on the site)

                good work 🙂

                  Hee.

There’s not a whole lot to read right now, really, but if you have questions, I have my own little plastic pet who sings at me when he’s happy, and I can answer *some* questions. But the gal who the site is ultimately for is like Aibo Queen.

                    I’m looking forward to it,
