Melody, approx how many more OW prototype castings are there? Lots, or only a few? Just wondering how hard I should fight for one of these new autumn leafs. 😛
March 25, 2009 at 10:06 pm #757784Well her ebay ad says there are 9 of the autumn leaf OW Prototypes, but I am also curious about how many of the castings per se there are available…those of us who truly love the OW, would probably love to get that casting in almost any color, so it would be nice to get him as a club special, or an online store exclusive, or something, if there were enough castings to do it. Maybe in one of the new colors she has been working on, like the amethyst, or a blue. squeek* squeek* squeek*
March 25, 2009 at 10:58 pm #757785Oh, I agree! I’d love to have one in any color. I like the more pock marked look on him, but I can’t afford the thousand-plus price tag.

There are still quite a few protoytype OWs, I don’t have a number, but plenty to do a few more editions of different colors. You don’t need to panic.
March 26, 2009 at 2:40 am #757787I dosn’t really matter how many prototypes they are – I’ll never be able to afford them when they hit ebay. With that said, I still love to see all the pretty versions of them. Maybe Windstone should publish a coffee table book with all of the pictures of the ebay and special peices. I know I could afford a book 😀 ….
March 26, 2009 at 6:41 am #757788We suggested that book before. But putting such a thing together takes time.
March 26, 2009 at 2:26 pm #757789If enough people squeak for a book and Windstone wants to make one, I can aid. I’ve some experience in putting together coffee-table style books now. 🙂

Sun Dragon Koi #3March 26, 2009 at 6:49 pm #757792That’s a really good idea!! A friend of mine wanted to buy me a coffee table book of Windstones and was surprised to find that there wasn’t any! So I’m sure there is a good market for a quality production of those books!
