I have a Kodak C875 8.0 megapixel camera, and I was wondering if someone knew how to switch parts in this camera. My camera had a scratched LCD screen and the casing above the flash is bent and as a result the flash does not work. Also, the camera does not seem to register the light, and so the pictures come out really dark, even in bright light.
I cannot afford to buy a brand new camera at the moment, but I have been noticing this camera model on ebay, and many of them have some broken function. I was wanting to buy one of these broken models to switch parts, but I have no idea how to do that. Can anyone help? Thank you!

well, I would if I could, but I live quite far off, and personally, I would rather buy a rather new one, or a used in a good condition, it is too risky to fix, you might end up breaking it more, or you might have to repair it within a year

It really would probably be way cheaper to just go buy a new 8 megapixel kodak for under 150.00.

I’ll chime in and agree. Unless you really know what you’re doing, put the money into a new one. IF you are really attached to the old one, have a pro fix it… but it might end up costing you more than buying a used but working model of the same camera!

Okay then, that is what I will do. 🙂 I am attached to the model, so I might get the same one. Thank you for your input!
