OK, for me there are striking simularities in the design although they are not alike (but still)
Brandon Lee died at age 28 in a hospital after “on set” accident in the making of “The Crow” he died before the film was released
Heath Ledger, you all know (or should remember) the tragic story, but he also died before the release of the film
hmmm…… I wonder if it is a coincidence or curse
February 22, 2009 at 1:18 am #497661February 22, 2009 at 3:02 am #752451There are lots of people who have died before a movie finished being filmed, maybe it is movies that is the curse? And Bruce died while filming as well, maybe it is the “lee” curse in their case? Bad stuff happens all the time, why does there have to be some conspiracy theory?
February 22, 2009 at 6:28 am #752452Coincidence. Look at Gene Simmons! He’s still rocking after all these years! Besides… how many clowns exist and never seem to die? 😉 Also, look at Jack Nicholson. He played the Joker in the 1989 Tim Burton film Batman. Before that, there was Cesar Romero in the old series (and film) with Adam West as Batman.
I also have a few friends who have used grease paint often in theater. Nothing outside of the usual drama.
February 22, 2009 at 6:37 am #752453There is also a professional wrestler (Sting) that uses face paint in a pattern very similar to Brandon Lee. Been using it for years and no curse, injury, or death.
February 22, 2009 at 10:20 am #752454ok this was stupid, next time I’ll research for months before I’ll post a thread about something that I find interesting or something
February 22, 2009 at 4:41 pm #752455Those pictures do look strikingly similar! I am sure that others have thought the same thing. I hadn’t even thought of the “speculation” until you posted it. 🙂

February 23, 2009 at 7:50 pm #752457It is an interesting observation though. I would not have thought of that unless someone had pointed it out. Who knows…maybe it’s the brand of face paint???? or something we can’t see.

 you call that a pout?? (gosh I´ll have to change avatar), that was sarcasm 😆 , and as for mistaking me for a grown up would be a mistake, I would be more like a character from a J.M. Barrie storie who wouldn’t grow up
Gene Simmons, and the sting, use black and white , well true, but they are not smudged, at all, and neither of them have an exstention of their smile,
Jack Nicholson had a “chemically created” smile and their appearances are more than slightly different

maybe…… the SAME MAKEUP ARTIST MHOHAHAHAAHA………. ehe……hmmm……..
February 23, 2009 at 10:49 pm #752459It’s creepy how simular those pictures look(especially since both died bfore the film released). Simular hair style, makeup job, and the their facial feature are even simular (imo). Maybe is is a curse. 😕 (Who’s the joke on 8) )

I don’t think I was saying your comment was stupid. I just have always noted the similarity between the Sting and Crow face paint. And given the similarity, I thought it was relevant to the discussion. I honestly think the two are more similar then Joker and Crow. As you noted further on in the thread, Sting doesn’t have an extension of the smile but he does have an extension of his mouth.
As far as Brandon Lee goes, I think its far more eerie and he and his father both died after they were shot accidentally during filming. That’s quite a bit of bad luck for one family.
