Does anyone have an original tan male gryphon they no longer love? if so let me know I am hoping to trade a silver male dragon for one.
January 23, 2009 at 4:51 pm #749898Were you the one bidding against me?
January 23, 2009 at 10:34 pm #749899Yeah!!!
It was pretty funny I was just thinking last week how I wanted to get the tan male and then there he was on ebay! I figured I lost out so I would see if any forum members have one to part with, alot of people seem to be weeding out their collections latley. Congrats on the win though!! The male gryphon is my favourite sculpt and my new goal is to get him in every production color…pearl and black peacock…success. Tan, spotted, sunset and wolf to go!!!
January 23, 2009 at 10:37 pm #749900At least the Black Sunset and Wolf are current production colors so that will make those a little easier to get.

Be thankful you didn’t win this one. Post office won’t cover it because the seller packed it badly even tho I sent the packing tutorial link in an email and on the paypal payment invoice. And now the seller doesn’t want to pay for repairs. Says it’s insured it’s the post office’s problem. :negative:
Told him I’d send an estimate for the repairs and he should pay for them, if not I was filling a claim with Paypal. I told him “The ball’s in your court.’January 28, 2009 at 4:55 pm #7499022Huberts wrote:Re: Wanted!!!!

He came broken and the post office won’t cover it because the seller packed it badly even tho I sent the packing tutorial link in an email and on the paypal payment invoice. January 29, 2009 at 3:54 pm #749904Just an ear. I had Kyrin write me up an estimate and sent it to him. He said If I got a statement from the Post office that they wouldn’t cover it because of bad packing, he’d reimburse for the repairs….so called my postmaster that i showed it to and she said she’d be happy to send the statement and i’ll get it today.
Looks like i’m getting reimbursed. (I’m going to take my own advice tho and not count my chickens before the eggs pay me )January 29, 2009 at 7:03 pm #749905Im sorry to hear about all the drama that ensued. Its always a little bit iffy when you buy from someone who only has a few transactions on their account even if they have a 100% positive rating. If the tan gryphons werent so few and far between I would have held off bidding at all for someone with a few hundred transactions and good user rating.
I learned that the hardway when I got screwed out of a peacock dragon the last time I dealt with someone who had a low tansaction record. That time paypal did decide in my favour but the scam artist cleaned out their account before I could get a refund for my money. At least on the plus side you did get your Gryphon and if the guy does pay for repairs he will be as good as new!! Kyrin does awesome repairs!!! she fixed up my pearl gryphon chick and it looks brand new!!!.
February 24, 2009 at 7:19 pm #749906I, too, am sorry to hear about your drama. It kills the joy in receiving your purchase. I have been lucky so far…Or rather the sellers have been, I would literally drive to their address if I were not reimbursed…my hubby refers to me as “She Bear” with good reason. Good Luck! Go get them!
February 24, 2009 at 7:32 pm #749907Thanks, i got the reimbursement for repairs!! I’m happy now.
problem is, is that i had to do the same for an emerald scratcher. 2 pieces in a month was getting old quick!! -
