ok so i was painting this one and got to thinking about the raven wolf i painted a while back and was thinking about the story that went with it so i kinda made my own lil character named makalie.

makalie had always been a curious pup making mischief to the point his mother said he came from the ravens clan. she said it lovingly though. as makalie grew so did his mischief. and one day he was staring at the dancing lights in the midnight sky. and with all his heart he wished to have the wings of the raven so he might dance with the lights…. for weeks he howled and mourned for his impossible dream. and news of this young wolfs sorrow came to a young raven who then sought out makalie. and they struck a deal the raven would grant makalie wings but makalie would need to return before the dancing lights left. makalies’s heart lifted and he danced upon the snow and with his new wings took off to be with his light….but makalie stayed to long. you can here makalie cry when lights return to the sky dancing in beauty and merriment.

He’s gorgeous! I LOVE the red and gold wings, and the designs on the fur!

I’m not digging the purple on his wings, but otherwise, he is awesome!
