Gads! For the last 5-6 months I’ve been thinking of having a baby. What is wrong with me???
My kids (9 and 10) who are a ton of fun right now are growing up and now I find myself thinking about starting over and applying everything I learned from them to a new one.
Funny thing is that I never really enjoyed the baby stage and now all I want to do is cuddle a baby! Hubby thinks I’m crazy. I tend to agree with him.
I’ve had a total of 5 babies (2 mine and 3 surrogacies). My tubes were tied after my daughter was born 9 years ago. So if we were to have another baby, it’d take a lot of trying.
Anyone else having mid life crisis?
Maybe I just need a puppy!

I’ve never been that eager to have children. I was the only one in high school that said they weren’t planning to ever have kids. And now I have a wonderful niece and nephew to play with when I feel the need. My bf would like to have a baby but not til after we get married. And even then it’ll only be one.

I have two furbabies and I’m content. Go get a puppy. πŸ˜€

if your husband doesnt also want another baby…then I’d say wait it out, and maybe puppy huggles would help! If the feeling doesnt go away, then perhaps you and your husband should talk about it. πŸ™‚ I believe both of you should agree totally before trying for another, since a baby is a really big deal. πŸ™‚

I wouldn’t know the feeling. I’ve never wanted to have a kid. Ever. My fiancee wants one though.

I’d say talk it over with him some more, or … I dunno. Puppies are good, too! πŸ˜€

I’ve had four babies and two mis-carriages. One of those was twins. πŸ™ I’ll be fifty in April and my “baby” is 17 πŸ˜€ I still get the feeling every now and than that a baby would be nice. One of my married kids better give me a Grand baby soon! πŸ˜†
Meantime puppies or kittens are nice but we can only feed so many 😈

              LOL, OK puppies have it!
I was so sure I wouldn’t want more after Ashley and tied my tubes. So we live with our decisions.
I’ll go hug the ponies tonight!

I really wanted a baby about six years ago, so we decided to get a kitty. That’s when we got Merlin. Cuddling him worked. The feeling will eventually go away.

Same here. Luckily my husband feels the same. Most (not all) kids creep me out anyhow. Ick. 😈 πŸ˜†

Me three! Though I have only a pesky mom who would love to have me married off and a grandkid, but she knows she isn’t getting any kids out of me. Don’t want them and it wouldn’t be a good idea health wise for me. I do enjoy teaching. I’ll take my furry/finned/feathered and scaled kids anyday! πŸ™‚

I get that “wanna a baby” feeling now and then…lately it has been coming and going, I suspect it is my body’s last ditch effort to convince me to have one last child before it shuts down the factory. I’m 38 and my youngest is 2, I think I can resist this little urge.

But gosh those babies we see everywhere are adorable, aren’t they? Especially the newborns with their tiny tiny little feets and hands, I love baby feet.

Ditto….I feel exactly the same way, but I have spend most of my teens watching my younger brother and that may be the reason why, everyone I met used to think he was mine… πŸ˜•
I am very content with my life right now and my spouse feels the same way πŸ˜‰
We love our Dobe and we both spoil him rotten… πŸ˜€ That may not be agood thing but it works for us… πŸ˜‰
I do have to add tho that I do LOVE kids and I think they are great, if you are ready to have them and both you and your spouse are on the same page about having a new baby… πŸ˜‰

I have to admit that I personally don’t understand why someone, especially a woman, wouldn’t want children. But I don’t think less of anyone who has made that choice, I just don’t get it.

There would be a major hole in my life if I hadn’t had mine, children were always something I wanted and even when they are being major pills, I am not sorry.

My dogs on the other hand make me sorry on a regular basis, vet bills, pissing on my carpet, etc. I much prefer cats, it’s hubby who is the dog person, but of course doesn’t train them or deal with the messes. πŸ™

I never wanted children either, I do have one, and I love him more than one could ever imagine, but if I never had him I dont think I would be any worse off, but that is just me. My life would just be different, I would have stayed showing dogs probably.

That said I NEVER want another one, I do want dogs though, LOL, so my vote also goes for puppy πŸ˜€
