Today all the signs were right for me to do this, and Louis and I were already on the way to our salon to get his hair cut when I called Pam. Her sister picked up and told me she wasn’t home as she was getting her hair cut off and her head shaved. I had been going back and forth whether to cut off all my hair as it has terrible upkeep. So this was the deciding straw. I went all the way saving my hair for donation, and have shaved my head in support of Pam and we will hopefully be going to Disneyland together bald! 😀
I am still looking into where I will donate to, right now the prime candidate is Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths as they donate to all cancer patients while Locks of Love is only for kids under 18, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

My mom did not lose her hair for some reasonwow! I cut almost all my hair off to donate several years back…though it was to Locks of Love..and it’s just now getting back to shoulder length! What an awesome gesture! 🙂 *hugs to ddvm*
That’s awesome! You’ll have to take pics of the trip together! I donated a foot of hair back in college to Locks of Love! Definitely worth it! 🙂
Thats awesome Cat. I thought before i saw the pictures a really short cut , like a military cut ..but you went all the way Kudos to you , in MD i would freeze my ears off 😛
i donated hair a while back and wanted to again before TX but the person who cut it , butchered it to the pointed they couldn’t use it. If i still had the long hair i would do it again .As far as shaving my head , i can get past looking like Charlie Brown.. i think the beatings i would get from PD would be my stumbling block . she hates when i have short hair and almost died when i shaved it before
