well i got a run down of how much my surgery cost last year , less the cost of the surgeon that was $5,000 and i paid 25 bucks , i would have gladly paid more for his service and the fact that he was in my room every day …even on his days off in his PJ’s no less :). Well here it is , i have no idea where the speech therapy came from, i guess when they told me to say hello ?? . I figured it would be much higher .
WOW!! 😯 The health system in Canada isn’t great but I’m sure glad I’d never have to pay for that much.

i only paid $100 bucks so no biggie 🙂
But if i had too I would in small increments of course , its better than the alternative ..its only money *gag* 😕
Just gets me that my insurance paid 60 grand for the organs and the family gets nothing . I know people do it because they believe in it and want to be generous but at least the funeral expenses could be paid for with that kind of money

all together it was 360,000 bucks . Depending on the hospital i have heard of bills in excess of 1 million . i was in the place for almost 2 months also .

Yeah, I added it up. It’s pretty close to $200,000. That’s obscene.
Edit: Oops, I’m slow. Looks like it was more than that. Still obscene.

i think that adds in all the nebulized meds i had to take too and the cost of the respiratory tech too
wow. considering what it could have cost, getting by with only having to pay $100 is AWESOME! That’s got to be really relieving news. congrats! 😀
I’m so glad you’re insured and only had to pay $100 out of pocket! I’m not insured and it’s scary. 🙁
