the wings are made from something called fantasy film and fimo gel & wire. They are super fun to make & very shinyNovember 13, 2008 at 12:15 am #740377Thankies! I’m always on the look out for good wing material π Is the fantasy film made by the Artistic Glitter folks? The only place I’ve found the film is on their web site. None of the craft stores in my area carry it… Easy to use? Could you provide a short tutorial? (aren’t I demanding π³ π ) The fairy dragon is absolutely darling!

I get the stuff off e-bay only place I’ve found it. It’s some times called angelina film too. It’s ok to work with but can be a pain. I made about 4 sets of wings before I got the one’s I liked. Also color changed a lot so they sometimes come out different than u think they will. I’ll try to make a tutorial at some point π if you find any people making wings with gallery glass it’s about the same I just use fimo gel because it’s stronger & sticks to the film better…November 13, 2008 at 3:21 pm #740381So, how much do you charge for a dragon with fairy wings?
November 13, 2008 at 3:27 pm #740382That fairy dragon is beautiful. I’d like to know how much it would be as well. (I’d have to save up for awhile before I could get one but, I think it’d be worth it, nothing beats handmade plush)
