He was the writer of the Jurassic Park novels and many more as well as the creator of ER.
He died of cancer.

Oh no, that’s so sad…I didn’t even know he was ill. I love his novels…jurassic park will always be a favorite.

He also wrote “Eaters of the Dead” which was made into “The 13th Warrior” movie. At least he got to share a few wonderful pieces with the world before he left it.

Wow, that makes me really sad 🙁 I love his work. Jurassic Park and Congo, in particular. Sphere and Andromeda Strain were also excellent reads. He will surely be missed.
