Oh and the emu! Georgina? How is she? She’s the first one I met that didn’t try and eat me when I got close 😆

The animals that survived are doing well, though I have had enough of keeping parrots in the living room… in Ca I could keep them in roomy outdoor aviaries where they were welcome to make all the noise they wanted, now they are in small cages in close proximity to everyone’s eardrums. Argh.
The llamas and sheep and emu and the one goat are doing great. My hay bills are really reduced because now they have gorgeous huge pastures to eat. I understand that having your grazing animals get too fat can be a problem here because the grass is so rich.

You mean Edwina the emu.(Most emus I know are named Ed for some reason!) She seems fine and dandy. She is in a pasture with several llamas and sheep, so she has fun chasing them around. She loves to chase things.

Oh ouch! We only have Budgies and I know they can get loud. Do you think you guys will build an enclosed aviary for them? I have known of some people that do that.

LOL, it is very green up there. I love it when ever I get a chance to go up to oregon. They must really like the change to free grazing. 🙂

Yes Edwina! I was close…. 😆 I’m glad she’s doing good! She did need more room to get her energy out! Lots of love to everyone!
