Hi Melody,
I just found a 17×20 sketch of a mother unicorn with a single baby, signed M. Pena 1981, Alberti Designs, N. Hollywood…It’s really lovely. Wondering if there are a lot of these around, or if we stumbled upon something a little more unusual…It’s not a numbered print or anything. It looks like pen and ink or something…It’s a lovely drawing.
thanks,

It’s regular production, but they may be out now until they get more printed. Cute sketch!
September 19, 2008 at 11:31 pm #733129It’s similar but quite different. Just one baby, and the mom is lying down. I wish I knew how to post the picture.

You can post any pictures until you post at least 5 written post.
Here is a link that explain how to post pictures:

But remember you have to post 5 times before you can do this. πSeptember 20, 2008 at 12:51 am #733131I have the one you are talking about. It really is nice. I’d post a picture of it, but it’s in storage right now.

Jennifer did an excellent job covering all the various aspects in the above link BDW supplied. (Thank you Nam!)
Also, Photobucket is definately very user friendly, assuming one has a faster connection than dial-up. I say that because as of a year and a half ago, I was still in the dark ages using dial-up. Hickville, USA has its charms, but current technology (and a good restaurant or cup of coffee) is usually not one of them.

September 23, 2008 at 12:40 pm #733135Is this the print with the momma laying down and she has one front leg bent up and the baby is right by her side? If so, I think I have seen one of them.
It is sorta hard to find frames that fit the larger prints. I have found one frame that isn’t a poster frame to frame one of the large ones. I guess I will have to go have some made for the others I have. πSeptember 24, 2008 at 8:56 pm #733136Yes, Collector, that’s the one exactly. We got it framed. It’s really sweet. The unicorn is definitely ready to guard and guide and nurture that uni-foal all the way…Somehow it puts me in mind of my daughter and myself.

September 24, 2008 at 9:39 pm #733138That is one of the nice prints. I tried for one on ebay a while back (probably a year or so) but missed it. I have the prancing one that is with a bunch of little critters. But, I do like the one you have too. π
September 24, 2008 at 9:40 pm #733139I’ve not seen this print… Thanks for sharing! It’s wonderful π
