So since I’m a single parent until my hubby comes home, all my holidays will be spent at home partying with my 2 year old.
Anyone have any fun plans for Labor Day that they’d like to share?August 30, 2008 at 4:13 pm #496547August 30, 2008 at 4:17 pm #730460Since on Sunday we’ll be partying at my parents’, Monday will be a rest day 😀
The biggest thing I have to plan is what I’ll be making for breakfast. On long weekends, I try to do something different or “special”, like crêpes.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

Going shopping with the parents for their anniversary gifts (an outing with Mom, an outing with Dad ). Finishing up on a cheetah griffin, painting on another pyo, and working on some web stuffs.
I don’t get Monday off. I opted to work from home to cover my shift (hopefully it will be quiet!). At least I get to save on gas and save on a 2 hour commute that day! *w00t* I’m taking next Friday off instead for my college alumni weekend to hang out with some friends. 😀 I will be heading to the Race track on Monday before work though to pick up some southern fried chicken from Hattie’s (as seen on Throwdown with Bobby Flay). They have a booth at the track and it is easier than going to the restaurant, since we just want the chicken. 😆
August 30, 2008 at 4:40 pm #730462I worked last night and I plan to sit on my butt for the rest of the weekend. I’m sure my husband has other plans though 😕
August 30, 2008 at 5:10 pm #730463I let whatever happens, happen! No plans. 😉
August 30, 2008 at 6:11 pm #730464I will be gleefully strapped to my video game controller! I must remember to blink! 😆
August 30, 2008 at 6:46 pm #730465I will be at my 2nd job 7-3PM I have some Windstones to pay off!!!
August 30, 2008 at 6:46 pm #730466I would do that, but they hubby took the 360 underway with him *fume*
I even preordered Infinate Undiscovery and I wont be able to play it till mid November and it comes out in a couple weeks. 😛August 30, 2008 at 7:19 pm #730467August 30, 2008 at 7:24 pm #730468Since hubby’s 29th birthday is today we celebrated with an early birthday steak lunch yesterday in Savannah (no “steakhouses” at Fort Stewart). I dropped him off at the house earlier this afternoon so I could finally go birthdy shopping. Now I’m waiting for him to wake up to give him the gifts.
Tomorrow and Monday will probably be spent doing some cleaning and sorting for when Transportation comes later this week to pack up our stuff.

August 30, 2008 at 11:26 pm #730470We went to a huge, and I mean huge flea market today with my best friends and there two kids today, that was interesting, 2 very pregnant women, and a 3 and almost 2 year old, not to mention my hubby and her hubby. And it got HOT!!! we were melting! but we had alot of fun…and I got some little things for the baby. Now hubby and I are re-arranging the living room, and second bedroom, in preparation for making the second bedroom the nursery. The baby will have to share the room with me (which is unavaoidable, we just ran out of space) and my craft desk will have to stay in there. We’re about halfway done now, I had to change the fishtank, which is on the massive bookcase assembly we have in the living room. We had to take the tank down to move the massive thing, and it smelled funky, darn koi!! I’m on a break now, before I put everything back on the bookcase, including my windstones which are safely locked in our bedroom on the bed, away from the cat. Next is to move the desk in the baby’s room, and deal with all that slowly. We might go to my parents tommorrow, or continue doing this, it all depends. Monday will likely be more of the same, maybe our bedroom, which has to be rearranged also. I hope every one else is having more fun!!
