August 29, 2008 at 6:55 pm #730252all of the picture where taken at six flags discovery kingdom 😀 i looove birds! the lil lorikeets where such a pleasure the lorikeet, the one with the red background was such a love she was on my shoulder and i turned my head to look at her and she waddled over and gave me a kiss on teh lips 😀 😀 😀 i wanted to take her home!!
the bald eagle was part of the bird show her name is denalie she has a damaged wing so her home is at the park but they take loving care of all of their babies. if anyone wants to use to pictures for refrence or desktop feel free 😀September 1, 2008 at 8:05 am #730253Thank you! September 1, 2008 at 5:06 pm #730256Great photos! I was intrigued by the one of the vertebra: it captured a lot of fine detailing on the bone. Very artsy. 🙂 I think my favorite is the one of the flamingo, though. It’s a great pose and the reflection in the water is so bright. The colors are really rich. It would make a great photo for the wall! 😀
September 1, 2008 at 8:30 pm #730257Wow!! 😯 These photos are awesome! I can’t get over all the colors of those lorikeets… they are just stunning. The bald eagle is very beautiful too. You must have a really good camera. The pics came out so crisp, and it looks as if the birds posed just for you! 😀
I need to share these with my bro-in-law. He is a photographer in his spare time, and he would love these pics.
