Vacation Pics Updated Photobucket, Too.

My hubby came home in between classes and was here from 15 July-4 August. He just boarded his plane and is headed back to Alabama. We wont see each other till New Years, but we had a great time while he was here. We spent most of the time snorkeling and surfing. Did you know you can get sea sick while snorkeling? Well, you can. We took a trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center and spent the day there visiting the 7 villages and attending a luau. We went smimming with the sharks, which is done in a cage… and not really smimming, more like floating with the sharks. Did you know you can get sea sick while floating in a cage? Well… you can. We went to Ko Olina and did a snorkel tour and got to swim with dolphins…once again it was more like floating with dolphins. We did swim with a shark this time, though, and a sting ray, and another turtle, though the turtles show up all the time here. I only got slightly ill. I fared better than another poor woman who didnt even leave the boat… just spent the whole 4 hours turning greener 😕 We went to see Cirque De Hawaii, which was wonderful! Exciting and funny. Paul took me to stay in Waikiki for my birthday and we spent the night in the penthouse of the hotel. How cool is that? What floor? Penthouse, please. We had Cheesecake Factory for dinner and it was awesome. My first time! Then, can you guess? We went snorkeling again. Yay. Hanauma Bay this time. It wasnt so wavey and I didnt get too ill so it was very fun. We topped off the evening with dinner and a movie. The Mummy. I dont recommend it. I saw Step Brothers, Space Chimps, Batman, and The Mummy while Paul was here. We surfed 3 or 4 times and I feel like I am 92% salt water. Im also hoping im pregnant but wont know for a week or so. We shall see! Im glad to be back but I miss my man already. Also, my number came up so I am an E-7 now. Very exciting. Top 20% of the Army and it takes an act of Congress to demote me if I screw up. 😆 Its been a good couple weeks. Professional photos of Ko Olina are uploading but it will take forever. The photographer had an awesome camera and got much better pictures than we did.
