I took this pic at 7pm tonight , it should still be sunny out but instead we get this , they are calling for it tomorrow too 🙁
July 24, 2008 at 1:04 am #496265July 24, 2008 at 1:07 am #724810I’m in massachusetts and we’re sharing in the bad weather; it’s been storming almost nonstop for weeks (it’s going at it again right this moment, actually). The towns on one side of mine apparently got hail, and the towns on the other side got a tornado warning. o.o
July 24, 2008 at 1:17 am #724811Today, it rained non-stop here. Thunderstorm, overflowing pool, you got it!

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmJuly 24, 2008 at 2:14 am #724812We’ve had the “storm a day” thing goin’ on here for a week, at least! Lakes Erie and Ontario put their heads together sometimes, and this is what we get! We had our 15′ trampoline picked up and hurled into the trees like it was made of matchsticks, and just finished repairing it and setting it up again. I was watching it out the window, actually thinking I might run out and grab hold if it started to look loose! I don’t mind the weather, though, because we were in a drought, and now everything is growing like crazy! I’m looking forward to having too many tomatoes… ;0)
July 24, 2008 at 3:01 am #724813We got hit with a nasty storm last night, and our power was knocked out for a little over an hour. I hope Lake Lanier got some of it, cause we are still trying to recover from last years draught.
July 24, 2008 at 4:35 am #724814We were told here no rain for 2 weeks, starting Monday… on Tuesday it rained all morning. Then they said it was going to rain all day, and it didn’t. 😆
July 24, 2008 at 5:13 pm #724815July 24, 2008 at 5:57 pm #724816And everybody thinks Florida has bad weather with their hurricanes. We have been in a drought condition for about 3 years now send us some of that rain.

Same here. Everything has been so dry and dusty. I don’t mind the storms as long as the vehicles and pets stay on the ground 😆
July 24, 2008 at 6:25 pm #724818We had a really bad thunderstorms last night in NJ – weird lightening effect. At one point the flashes were nearly continuous – kind of looked like a flickering light bulb. I stayed at work an extra half hour because there was such a torrential downpour and I didn’t feel like getting soaked!
But, hey, on the brighter side the storm broke the heat wave we had been having!
July 24, 2008 at 11:58 pm #724819We’ve been getting 5-10 storms daily here, the last week or so. The river is getting a bit high. :/

My art: featherdust.comJuly 25, 2008 at 12:18 am #724820our humiditiy actually broke today only 56% thats really low for here , we usually are in the 80 to 85% mark horribly muggy . Even though it was almost 90.f today we had a nice breeze and if felt nice out
July 25, 2008 at 3:07 am #724821We were suposed to get a dry summer…LOL yeh right…so far we have been getting rain everyday. And that causes damage to the crops and we now have 3 times more mosquitoes than ever. Our river is really high for this time of the year. I have yet to water the gardens and flowers. I did notice some plants are starting to rot. Not good. 😯
July 25, 2008 at 3:38 am #724822My parents ended up not being able to mow their lawn for 3 weeks, my father was just mowing it the other day, he was getting 8ft before he had to empty the bag! 😯
It would be nice all day, then it would pour in the evening, so it was never dry enough to mow. 😆 -
