I’m just afraid they won’t reply back at all… if not I’ll have to see if I can file a Paypal claim I guess. I was very nice, but kind of a smart ass about how I asked for the double boxing and was assured that it would be, but I did mention a partial refund. I don’t know if they will comply though. I HOPE I can fix it… I will certainly try, but it will never look 100%. That’s for sure.

With your ability to repair, I disagree. Put him together, and then get the paints from Melody when she’s able to get to them again. I don’t see any reason he can’t look like it never happened.

You will need the factory paints though, there is nothing out there anywhere that matches the paint they used on the emeralds.

Almost no one pays any attention to special shipping requests… my last two windstones from ebay I asked for double boxing, and both were only single boxed.

Poor little guy! The damage isn’t beyond repair though, I think a little TLC will have him restored just fine. It would be nice if the seller gave you at least a discount for the damage though, it’s NEVER fun to see even a previously-damaged piece arrive worse than expected 🙁

I’ll agree with Kyrin about matching the emerald paint, it’s really tough. Best of luck to you with both the seller and fixing him!
