Olympia sun dragon??

The seller says this is an oriental sun dragon painted by Olympia but it looks like a regular production emerald to me…..

Yeah. I think it’s just an Emerald Sun Dragon. Pretty though.

Maybe Melody needs to. Not only is it being missrepresented, they are listing the real one as a similar item. 🙄 Won’t fool any of us, but I’d hate to see someone get this, not knowing any better.

Probably what happened is this is someone that wasn’t sure what Windstone dragon they had, and searched eBay for answers, and saw the official Windstone auction of Oly’s dragon and thought that was what they had.

If so, it is an easy mistake to make.

If they are doing it to misrepresent the item and make more money though, that’s a no no. I will send them a polite note.

I personally think that he is purposely trying to mislead, only because he has links to the actual Olimpia sun dragon that is up now, astral castle and the price data base.

I wrote him and he changed the auction wording a bit, and included my message at the bottom on the page, so hopefully any potential buyers can judge properly on the value.

Not everyone knows alot about Windstones, I think it was probably a mistake. He’s still a very nice dragon, I remember seeing a ruby oriental in Millenium the other day and wishing I had the $300 they wanted to spend on him… 😀

I think they are trying to mislead, if only for this statement: ” the glass eyes in this dragon which are dichoric coated (as is the crystal ball) and reflect in different colors depending on the type of light and it’s angle.• “

They changed enough of the wording in the auction so it wasn’t blatent, but now that they have been notified, it seems they are trying to mislead.

I can’t say if this person is trying to mislead or not, I pointed out yesterday to this seller that it would have a signature on the felt pad and come with a COA if it was a special piece. Maybe the seller is just confused?
