I don’t think she missed one thing to tell us about on her vacation in that e-mail! 😆 Sounded like it was a lot of fun.
I really need to visit the Biltmore House sometime.Hmmmm….I find it hard to believe that she has missed this post this long. 😆 She must be out of practice since her leave. 😆

Vacation was great!!! For those of you who don’t know, we went to the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. We went horseback riding, whitewater rafting, took a 4 1/2 hour ride on a train through the mountains and along a river, drove along part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, visited Grandfather Mountain and Chimney Rock. We went to the Biltmore Estate too. If your curious, here are links to the things we did. 😉

Sounds like it was an absolute blast. A tinge of envy zigged through me as I read your condensed version. Visiting Biltmore had to be like icing on the cake. 😎
Star–did you stay on the Estate, or just visit?
I honeymooned there last July, and it was amazing! They even have a flourless chocolate cake that’s to die for!
We enjoyed the pool in the evenings, surrounded by fireflies–had not seen them in years! (don’t have them in Colorado…)
What did you think about the master clock in the main house?
We stayed in the Inn for several days, and were treated like royalty. What an awesome experience!
We stayed at a timeshare in Lake Lure. I would like to stay at Biltmore sometime though. 😉
We saw fireflies too. I never see them here. 😕
