I put my spotted griffin chicks up on eBay.
They’re the most adorable chicks ever, they have me loving the griffins as much as the dragons.
But I could use the money more, and if they don’t sell at the price I’m willing to let them go for, then I get to keep them! So I win either way.
Anyway, 6 days left 🙂
June 22, 2008 at 1:56 pm #716684Good luck! Would you mind posting a link to your auctions?
June 22, 2008 at 2:32 pm #716685Good luck! 😀
June 22, 2008 at 3:50 pm #716686June 22, 2008 at 5:57 pm #716687I saw them, I wanted them. I looked at my bank account. Nuff said. 😆
June 23, 2008 at 1:50 am #716688Awww, I want them. It’s too bad I can’t afford them. Good luck selling them.
June 23, 2008 at 8:40 am #716689Oh, those are yours? I’m not sure if I should wish you good luck selling, but they really are cute. I hope there’s another couple batches.
June 23, 2008 at 9:50 am #716690yep, they’re mine, I know some people will be mad at me for putting them on eBay so high instead of offering them to the community here for the store price, but I think they’re the cutest little pair ever! and I wouldn’t be offering them at any price…but I have serious plans to go to Florida and visit my BF for my birthday( I miss him 🙁 ) so if they sell, that’s money towards that goal. If they don’t sell, then I get to keep them and I’ll still be happy (I’d just have to find something else to sell)
Melody did say that when they get the company set back up in Oregon that they would be making another batch and that she was going to start making much LARGER batches of the limited production pieces so that there would be enough to go around for all of us rabid collectors and so that there wouldn’t be so much dissappointment when they sell out in 3 minutes (also probably so that we won’t break the store again with our eagerness to buy them up so quickly)
June 24, 2008 at 12:01 am #716691well from a collectors stand point would these griffin chicks still have Hollywood on the bottom and the new ones will say Oregon?

I believe somewhere Melody said that once they get to Oregon they still have a lot of felt pads that say Hollywood. So it won’t be a clean switch. I’d imagine that depending on how many Hollywood felts they have for each mold, it could be a while before they run out and order more with Oregon.
So, these might be, if they run out of Hollywood griffin chick felt pads before they paint more of these. But, not knowing how many felt pads they have left…I have no idea.
June 27, 2008 at 2:41 am #7166931 day bump
June 28, 2008 at 8:18 am #716694you know, I thought there’d be a bit more interest in these pieces than this. No bids, looks like I’m going to get to keep my griffy chickies.
So, I may need to sell something else to come up with some spending money for Flroida…
Anyone interested in a Peacock Lap dragon? I believe she’s mint, except for the “crazing” effect along her neck and back legs, no tag, no box, but I know how to fragile pack my Windstones.
hmph, I’ll have to look at the rest and see what else I’m willing to part with.
Anyway, PM me with any interest.
