We have not had a post from PhoenixTears lately because she has been in the hospital. I asked if it was alright to post this notice and was told OK but no details. So I am respecting her right to privacy but thought some of you might like to know why she hasn’t been on the Forum lately.
Thank you for letting us know. I was going to see if she would respond to a PM, since I haven’t heard anything from her in awhile. I hope she’s doing alright.
I hate the no details…why is she in the hospital?? What is wrong with her? I understand her not wanting sympathy, etc, but I truly would like to know what is wrong.
Telling us she’s in the hospital without details of why, etc is worse than not telling us at all, at least that is how I feel about it.
Is she going to get better? How bad is it, should we be really worried? Without knowing why she’s there, we have no idea if this is minor and we shouldn’t worry too much, or major and we should be alarmed/worried.
Ask her if you can PM me…I won’t tell, but I’d like to know more about what is going on with her than “she’s in the hospital”, and you can tell her I said it isn’t good enough and this ambiguous message is very alarming to me, I don’t like it.
Reassurance would be nice. (and yes, I know this message sounds a bit pissy, but damnit, we’ve known her for over a year now and she still hasn’t let us in enough to tell us what is wrong with her, just hints that it is terminal and we shouldn’t expect her around for much longer, which is just not fair. She should know by now that we love her and care about her and how would she like it if there was something majorly wrong with us and we kept her in the dark and didn’t really prepare her for what was coming?)

That worries me too. I’d like to be able to support, help, whatever PT needs… but now I worry more, I think, from lack of info… (I’m a really good worrier 🙄 )

I don’t like the lack of details either. I feel sick not knowing how she is, or if she’ll be okay or not. She is such a private person, I expect nothing less from her but, it doesn’t help us. I know quite a few of you care deeply for her just like me… I’ll just go and cry now, I feel so helpless since I’m so far away.
I was just worrying about her silence the other day…I do hope she is willing to give some more details. It’s worse not knowing and worrying. 🙁
Anyway, I’m praying for you, PT! I hope you get out soon!
Lack of detail can be very frustrating, but I understand her totally.

We need you company and besides the hopital staff have been enjoying your company long enough, we want you back. 😉I’ll send her friend, who has been keeping me updated the last few days, an email and ask her and see what she says about giving out any details. I am sorry my message about her made things worse but that was all I was allowed to say I think I was lucky to be allowed to even say anything as she is such a private person.
