Believe me it’s better then it sounds, 😆
You need!
-Either 2 Pillsbury crescent rolls, or a ready made pizza crust, your choice.
-8 ounce package of cream cheese
-1 1/2 cups of mayonnaise or miracle whip
-package of ranch dressing mix (only if using mayonnaise, will be too strong a flavor with miracle whip)
-1tsp dill weed
-1tsp garlic powder
-1 egg, slightly beaten
-veggies of choice, I used green and red bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and olives
-Parmesan cheeseIf using the crescent rolls, just unroll the package and lie flat, don’t make them into rolls or separate the little triangles, brush the egg onto the dough, and then bake at 375F for 10-13mins per package directions, make on a rectangular cookie tray. I ended up having half of one of the rolls left over.
If using the ready made pizza crust, brush the egg onto the dough, and make per package directions on a rectangular cookie tray.
In both cases, when done, let cool.
Blend together the cream cheese, miracle whip or mayonnaise, ranch dressing mix (if using), dill weed, and garlic powder until you get a creamy, spreadable texture. Spread this onto the crust. I had some left over, it makes a good dip too!
Top with chopped up veggies of choice, you don’t need to use what I used, so you can be creative with this part, for instance, there is only olives on half of mine, since Colin hates them.
Sprinkle the top with Parmesan to taste, refrigerate until ready to serve.
It looks like this when done! Okay, I took the picture before the cheese but it still looks nummy!
June 19, 2008 at 11:17 pm #715746you know…I’ve had that before at a dinner party, without the olives..and it is GOOD! I think there are a few different versions of this pizza…the one I tasted had a dinstinctly ranch flavor to the cream cheese. YUM. 😀
