If so, can you tell us how you became involved in the project? Did they send each artist a random panel? Did you have many rules to follow?

Ahh yes 146 is the one I completed. I learned about this project through the “Equine Art Guild” of which I am a member. We e-mailed Phil at Mural Mosaic and signed up to do a panel. They had a link on their web-site to become a participating member a couple of months ago.
The large picture the mural will show is painted on the panels with appropriate colors and values and when each panel arrives to the artist it has paint already on it. We are able to go 20% lighter or darker in tone. The end result should be a larger artwork made up of many smaller ones. I should add that even the artists do not know what the larger picture looks like only that it will be equine in nature.

Hey guys .. Just a little reminder the official unvailing is September 3rd at The Masters at Spruce Meadows! It’s approaching very quickly. The online mural should be complete around then. US tours to be announced as well..
