Okay. I was messing around out in the yard with my camera today, and… I know some of you have much more impressive photos, but snapping these just made my day and I thought I’d share 😀
We have baby bunnies! Four of them. I love rabbits (even if they eat my strawberry plants) and this little one let me get insanely close before finally bouncing off into the lillies. My cats don’t like me right now, though… they can’t go out until the bunnies grow big enough to run away from them.
I also found a snake, who stayed still for a glamor shot:
Got a nice close-up of my wysteria vine trying its level best to grow enough to reach out and grab someone. The new tendrils need fed back up into the arbor.
And spent some quality time with the koi. They’re pets, too, not just decorations. We sit with our feet in the water and get fishy kisses.
So all in all… a good evening 🙂 Anyone else have cool pictures of your yards? Please share! 😀

One day, when I’m fortunate enough to own a house, I want a koi pond and waterscaping.
Lovely backyard.

Lovely backyard.
You and me both… but I have a house… just a yucky back yard. Its layout is rough to work with and we are still working on getting rid of a lot of the over grown plants out there… 😯
June 12, 2008 at 10:53 pm #713326I love your koi, and the baby bunnies are darling! 😀
June 13, 2008 at 12:54 am #713327Thanks for all your nice comments, everyone! When I get back from vacation, I hope to find all the lillies blooming 🙂 Gardening is a hobby my mother and I share. Together we’ve built up a pretty nice place. Roses and the oriental garden with pond, waterfall and koi are our big triumphs. Maybe I can post some more pics next week, if it’s all bloomed out!
June 13, 2008 at 1:32 am #713328What a pretty yard you have! Those koi are are so cool looking. Thanks for sharing! 😀
June 13, 2008 at 1:56 am #713329If I had a home with a yard, I would want a koi pond. However, as the proud owner of a cat that I’m assuming would try and eat said koi, probably not going to happen! 😀
I love your yard it’s so well taken care of!
June 13, 2008 at 6:12 am #713330Awww, fishies! Pretty fishies. And the baby bunnies are very cute, too. But I like the snake best.
