Anybody else been lucky enough to find a place with this in stock? I blundered into Best Buy today and found The Last One. They had a few in stock today and a very helpful associate pulled the last one out of a bottom of a box for me.
All I got to say is: FUN! I don’t think I’ll have any problem at all setting aside 45 minutes a day to do this stuff (although the strength training kicks my butt).
So, who else?
June 8, 2008 at 11:39 pm #495743June 9, 2008 at 12:20 am #712087I know someone who has had it for months now (Japanese Wii ;)). I haven’t played it yet though. I don’t have money for any new games anymore… remembers a time when I use to buy a brand new game or 2 each week.
June 9, 2008 at 12:32 am #712088I reserved mine. I LOVE IT! I have opened all of the yoga and the workouts for the abs n the strenght training. And I love the hula hoop game. My four year old loves to play the game. And my abs have been looking better. I also feel better.
June 9, 2008 at 1:15 am #712089I have Wii Fit and I love it too!!! It does make exercise fun!!! I’m trying to use it for an hour a day, at least 5 days a week. I haven’t started the strength exercises yet. I’ve been focusing on yoga and aerobics with some balance exercises thrown in. What’s fun is Wii Fit has imported all of the characters my son created for our other Wii games, so I see them working out with me too!! 😆
June 9, 2008 at 1:20 am #712090Yeah, the funny thing about that is a friend of mine created a Mii of one of her more snarky-type RPG characters and we swapped friends codes, so he shows up in all my games – usually to laugh at me, which is actually quite fitting.
He ends up as the referee for the soccer balance game so he can be there to watch my Mii get smacked in the face with a cleat.
I finally did just put mine away because my feet were starting to hurt. I did some of everything, though I already have favorites.
That being said, I’ll swap friends codes with anyone who wants.
June 9, 2008 at 4:50 am #712091I’m waiting for my Wii Fit. I don’t buy Wii stuff on the local economy (the base sucks and sells very little!), because I’d really rather have English instructions :?. But my Mom picked one up for me and I’m just waiting on the mail.
My dad said that Wii Fit weighed him and made his Mii fatter. I couldn’t help but laugh. 😆

^ That about says exactly what I was going to say XD Almost freakishly similar (even the part about the strength training). I try about 30 min a day though.
June 9, 2008 at 5:33 am #712093We don’t have the Wii yet but I’m thinking of getting it for my bf’s birthday this month, just so I can get the Wii Fit since I really could use some exercise and that really looks like a fun way to do it. 😆
June 9, 2008 at 5:04 pm #712094i really want it to keep up my lung function , the best buy up by my house is now taking reservations for the next shipment ..in August !!! , nintendo knows how to make supply and demand work wonders for them , that and i think they hate Americans
June 9, 2008 at 11:07 pm #712095Actually, Necron, since Nintendo loses money on their consoles and (I think) games, they always create a low supply to not lose as much money. I read that somewhere. I tried to find it and didn’t; good thing, as I don’t have the money for it yet. I think I will be getting Wii Fit for Christmas for myself. By then I’ll have the money, providing no Windstones pop up on e-bay that require my immediate and undivided pocketbook! 😆

Hmmm… I’d like to see where you read that. I use to work at a video game store and Nintendo games came in just as frequently, and in just the same amount as any other games. Actually, we always ended up getting less PS3 and 360 games than Nintendo games most of the time. Just my personal experience.
June 9, 2008 at 11:31 pm #712097I’m not sure how it works and I do not have room to add another box in my entertainemt center anyway
June 9, 2008 at 11:33 pm #712098I think most of the systems themselves are sold at a slight loss, be it PS3, Wii or Xbox and the games are the money makers.
There’s such a huge demand for Wii because it’s such a new and engaging style of game play. I always think back to the early 90s when we had an NES and my brother would jerk the controller (along with pressing the A button) to get his character to jump (he would’ve been 7 or so).
So now you can do that with Wii, and it actually works that way (and there’s no need for the tongue aerobics that went with the old NES controller jerk) so you don’t look as silly. And it’s fun!
June 10, 2008 at 2:51 am #712099*snork at tongue aerobics…* BWWWWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Good one Rusti!
