Gone for three weeks-Update

We are going to MI to take care of my M-I-L for a bit while she recovers from surgery. Than staying a bit longer to visit family and maybe even relax a bit. We’ll be back on the 29th. Fortunately we have adult children who can stay here and take care of the critters 😆 Don’t know how much I’ll be able to get online. I’m gonna miss this nuthouse! 😆

My in laws are doing well. Dad is recovering nicely and Mom’s surgery went better than expected. We spent the first week there. My husband works online so as long as he has a really good internet connection he can work from almost anywhere. Not quite as well as from his home office but still do-able. He worked to avoid using up vacation time and I cooked, cleaned and ran errands for the folks. We also went to visit a different relative or friends every night 8) I was already wore out by the first week !
Second week we spent in another city, Grand Rapids, with my folks. The kids went fishing with Grandpa everyday while my Mom and I visited around my relatives. It was so great to spend time with my sisters and their families. Especially the youngest sister. We used to spend a lot of time together. We also went to Lake MI. There is nothing like the Great Lakes. One of the things I really miss living in GA. We also went as a family to visit someone different each night.
Third week we went up to my brothers near Traverse City. This was the best part 😆
I have only spent time with him twice in the last twelve years but we have stayed really close. Our week there we really made up for lost time. Art (my husband) took that week off for that reason.

All in all we had an exhausting but wonderful time.
I miss everybody there but it was still real good to get back home (GA) 😉 I’ll try to post a few pictures later.
