I was looking at my BEP lap, and notice that she has quite a bit of glue (at least I think it’s glue) on her horns. Like someone accidently smeared the glue when they were placing it. (or something) Is there a safe way to remove it? I mean, it’s all over the horns. (didn’t notice it because I opened her at night an kinda just put her on the shelf) Thanks for any advice!

I’m sure Windstone would be more than happy to take care of it. Have you contacted them?
Good luck!June 6, 2008 at 4:59 pm #711512June 6, 2008 at 5:00 pm #711513Phoenix wrote:It almost looks like a finger print?

Good luck!HAHA! That is what I thought too! But the kids would have had to jump VERY HIGH to get her and manage to get her down because she is behind a kinglet, and a few hatchers and an empress. LOL I think that Jennifer is going to give me some advice. I will see what she says and then try other options if she can’t help. I just don’t want to put just anything on her to clean it off if I don’t know what will harm her. Thanks for the support!
June 6, 2008 at 5:08 pm #711514Oh, I wasn’t saying your kids… Just who ever put the horn in or put finishing touches on the dragon.

Sorry.. π ..thought that you meant like the kids got ahold of her, and it was funny picture my kids in “anit-gravity” sutis because that is the only way they could get up that high. LOL It gave me a laugh. HAHAHA!!! π
June 6, 2008 at 5:35 pm #711516I’ll take an anti gravity suit if you have one!!
June 6, 2008 at 6:57 pm #711517I would definitely talk to Melody. Susie might have one held back for the archive that they can replace yours with or something…Or they could at least give you good tips for junk removal. But I suspect anything that could take extra glue off the horn would probably damage the surrounding paint job or even the horn itself. π

Should I ask this on the “ask Melody” thread or just give Susie a call?

Just emailed her! Thanks so much! Hopefully she can just give me some infor on how to safely remove it rather than having to send her all the way back to Cali! (I am in college at the moment with two little ones, and going to the post office is like an all day task) LOL
