This male that I found is EXTREMELY dark. Is it the camera or is this one of those dark early ones? It looks almost black!

I was wondering about that to. Has anyone noticed the ton of Peacock Males on ebay lately? Compared to those this one does seems really dark.

Notice that the one on eBay does seem to have a dark blue sheen though, and has green on him. None of the black ones I’ve seen have any green. I can’t tell for sure though!

Thought that I would post it on here because others would know more than I do. Thanks!

I think it’s an older one. He looks like mine with bad lighting.

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

$32 for shipping….ouch…I think the last time I shipped a male it cost somewhere around $21… He is a pretty one either way. 🙂

The lighter blue on his snout makes me think it’s lighting, but you never know. I’d ask the seller for some more pictures

Someone could always upload the pics to photoshop and play with the light levels. That will likely tell you whether it is one of the old blackish blue ones or just a darker peacock male.

It’s hard to say if he’s one of the black dragons or not. I tried playing with the curves in photoshop to lighten things up, but the lighting is so wierd in those auction photos that it’s really hard to tell.

It looks more like the dragon that Tintaglia has than a regular peacock, but the peacock color really varied over the years so there’s really no way to know for sure.
