I ordered a bunch of PYO’s so hopefully that will keep me occupied during the forum move but I finished my wolf. And suggestions on how to improve him would be appreciated since I’m fairly new at this stuff.
He looks shiney because I used iridescent silver and pearl mixed with grey and black to give depth, I haven’t top coated him yet. And I have to say that I love playing with the interference paints!! That is blue on the top of the wing, violet in the middle and it might be hard to see but there’s green interference on the bottom layer of feathers. And I used the red oxide and violet oxide on the back of the wings.
I think all he needs is a bit of antiquing to bring out the details in the fur.

Okay, done the antiquing on my wolf and redid the green interference on his wings since it seemed really washed out:
And my new Kirin who I can’t manage to get her scales to be flat, you can still see the brush stroke unfortunately. But I still like her, she has blue interference on the pearl white bits:
