Alright, I’m running a dry mind, so I’ll throw up a little contest here.
When the servers move over here I need new names for them. Right now the two big ones are just named:
ts1.axengia.net, and
web1.axengia.netThe two machines I have here now are named keyhole and deadbolt, cause they are the main “door” or gateway machines.
I need something new for these two servers. The ts1 is for Teamspeak, the radio broadcasting and other misc stuff, the web1 is the big web server.
So the names need to be X.axengia.net .. something to fill in the X. Something, like… fantasy, cutesy, I dunno. I have to be able to remember it, and know that that name belongs to that server, I cannot be in a panic and forget how to spell it or I can’t get to it.
So, anyone who wants to come up with ideas, you have until next Wednesday afternoon.
If I pick names from the list I will award the imaginative person with something 😯
*thinks really hard…comes up with a few corny names…gets a headache and gives up*

How come you have to change the names they already have? TS1 seems easy enough to remember and type for TeamSpeak, so does Web for the web server. You just want them to have cool names like “deadbolt” and “keyhole”? 😀

Chatterbox.axengia.net or Chatbox.axengia.netGossiper.axengia.net or something super simple like GS.axengia.net (Gossip Machine)
