Many, many Windstones for sale! More pieces 5/8/08, MO's now

Okay guys, I know there is a lot of writing here but because it is a slightly complicated situation, if you want a piece don’t fly off and email or PM me like crazy… make sure to read this first, because I just don’t have the time right now to deal with anything goofy!!

How this will work:

Background:
I am listing these items for sale for Cathy, who wants her brother’s dragons to be sold to loving collector’s homes. I am not the individual selling these dragons- I am an intermediate. I do not ordinarily do this sort of thing but this was a friend of Melody’s and Melody nor her friend’s family has the time to do the footwork here on the forums to sell.

The individual that these belonged to very obviously loved his collection very much and wanted them to go on to collectors. Most are in mint condition with hangtag. He kept the original boxes for everything that came in an original box, and only a few pieces are the exception to this (he purchased them from individuals that did not have the original box).
Cathy has told me that these dragons are literally bringing her family together! The money they earn will go to help family members all fly out to meet (which would not be possible without the monetary aid of these Windstones!).

Pricing and condition of pieces:
I worked to carefully price these as fairly as possible, taking into consideration the value, condition, and scarcity of each piece. Prices are set and at this time are not open to offers. For current production items, we have them priced at the current retail value as to not undercut Windstone or other dealers (as they are mint in box). Cathy is not a collector of Windstones but has described the pieces to me as accurately as possible. That said, pieces are offered in good faith that they are in the condition described. I do not have these pieces in hand however based on photos and descriptions (most of them have been stored in their original boxes from day one!!) I believe that the descriptions are accurate.

How sales will work:
I ask that anyone that is sure that they want a piece to email me (more below!!). After confirming that the buyer is genuinely wanting to purchase the piece, I will then supply them with Cathy’s Paypal address OR Cathy’s address for Money Orders, etc, so that payment can be made. Money never passes through my hands- if there is a problem I will happily provide you as the buyer and Cathy with any contact info needed, but money never touches my hands. After payment is made Cathy will ship the item to the buyer.

Shipping:
Buyer to pay shipping (I will help calculate shipping costs). Cathy prefers to ship UPS (if you prefer USPS please let us know). She has agreed that Windstones need special packaging and will always ‘double box’. Since most of these are in original boxes, that means shipping the Windstone within its original box, which has then been placed in a secondary larger box with padding. As many of you know, this can get expensive due to weight and size of box.
Also—I know this is a pain for some of you, but Cathy cannot ship out of the USA right now. I’m sorry! If you’re not in the US and want a piece, there are many members here that might be willing to help you out! I can’t (I don’t have the time, and literally don’t have space!).

Payment:
For now, Cathy is accepting Paypal and Money Orders, and no ‘time’ payments. If you really want a piece and can’t afford it up front, perhaps you can find a forum member that can help you out. Items will be sold on a first-come-first served basis. I will consider the timestamp on any emails I receive to be the order.

A note on Money Orders- ALWAYS keep your receipt for a money order. I not Cathy can be held responsible for a money order lost in the mail so keep your proof of purchase, just in case!

So you want one of these Windstones?? This is what you do:

1. Make sure you really want it. Seriously! I cannot ‘hold’ a piece for you while you decide… I apologize!
2. Make sure you read all of that up there. It is all pretty important stuff.
3. Make sure it’s not sold already. See below. I’ll keep it as updated as I can (I do need to sleep sometimes).
4. EMAIL ME. Do not send a PM. I get a lot of forum related PMs daily and I can’t deal with selling stuff via PM. Email me! If I get PM’d about this I will ignore them. My email is: nambroth@gmail.com
5. Make sure you put “Windstone Purchase” as the subject of your email. If you put anything else I may not see it in time.
6. I know you’re excited, but please clearly put in your email which pieces you want to purchase. I will also need your city and ZIP code. Both of them! This is to figure shipping costs.
7. Don’t panic if I don’t write you back immediately! I sometimes go to sleep at night (and turkey season starts tomorrow so I’ll be in the woods sometimes). I will write you back, even if you didn’t get the piece.

I do not have photos of every piece. Cathy has been too busy to get them all.
