Before I get too far, I wanted to let you guys know that they are NOT YET for sale. I am working out a few final details. I wanted to post this here as a ‘warning’ so no one feels left out!!
Melody put me in contact with the family of one of her friends that collected Windstones. I am very, very sad to report that Melody’s friend passed away but left his wishes that his collection be sold to those that would appreciate them (that’s you guys!). His sister, Cathy, was left to this task and as she is too busy to handle the emails and learn how the forum works, I am working with her to sell her pieces here. There are approximately 60 for now that will be sold, and I hope to get them up tomorrow evening after you guys get home from work and school so everyone has an equal oppertunity.
Since we are dealing with so many pieces, we decided that trying to do and keep track of offers for a ‘best offer’ would be too hard to do at this point. So she and I worked together to try and set fair prices based on condition, scarcity and ravnheart’s database. Essentially, it will be first come first served- whoever agrees to buy and pays first gets it. I wish there was a better way to do it but we cannot put them on eBay so that is how it will be.
Additionally, at this time Cathy does not have enough time nor resources to ship internationally out of the USA- so if you want a piece and live out of the US you can see if someone in the US will work with you. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Looking at the photos and talking to Cathy, it is clear that her brother was very very loving of his collection and they are in amazing shape and most have original boxes.
Please don’t PM me on this till I have them for sale. I just wanted to give some small ‘warning’ that I will be posting them tomorrow night so no one feels left out. I hope to do it in the evening (I’m on Eastern US time).

April 30, 2008 at 12:30 am #694364That so sad that a fellow windstone collector passed away. I would like to see what is for sale and possibly buy a piece or two but I’m working night shift tomorrow so I’m sure I’ll be to late to get anything 🙁
April 30, 2008 at 12:34 am #694365Melody, I’m very sorry you’ve lost your friend. I’m sure you must miss him very much. (hugs) 🙁
April 30, 2008 at 12:36 am #694366So sorry for their passing. 🙁 🙁
April 30, 2008 at 12:40 am #694367Though we are saddened to hear of his passing, Cathy has stressed that it is important to him and his family that the Windstones go to homes that will love and appreciate them as much as he did. 🙂

For those who need international shipping, I am happy to be a way station for those purchases that need to go to Canada or the UK. I’ve been doing it for Sapphire for a couple of months now.

April 30, 2008 at 12:54 am #694373I’m just sad to hear of a windstone collector passing away. This is what, the second one we have heard of through the forum?
April 30, 2008 at 12:56 am #694374That’s sad. = I also offer my condolences to Melody and his family.
I’d probably want my Windstones to go back to the people on here too. I don’t know anyone irl who’d want them/love them the way I do, either. =( But I know you guys would! =D
April 30, 2008 at 1:01 am #694375My condolences go to Melody, and his family.
