I recently won an auction for a small blue wizard on ebay. Part of the reason I bid on him was because he was different from the other small blue wizard I had won previously. Below are pictures of the two of them together.
Up until now the only small blue wizards I had even seen were solid blue. The one I just won had red sleeves like the large blue wizards I’ve seen.
Is one verion older than the other, or a mistake? If so which one?
Sorry about the grey and white areas on the solid blue one. That’s where I’ve tried to fix the chips with apoxie sculpt, but I haven’t gotten around to touching up the paint. He’s got some flaking issues that I’m trying to figure out what to do about.

April 9, 2008 at 9:02 pm #688520Wow Peg!! That looks like quite a find!!! I’ve never seen one with red sleeves either. 😯
April 9, 2008 at 9:38 pm #688521Wow! I’ve never seen one with red sleeves either, but I like it.
April 9, 2008 at 10:03 pm #688522I found it funny that the seller had him listed as a peacock wizard. He just ended on Sunday. I got him for a whopping $10.75!
April 9, 2008 at 10:08 pm #688523I think you got a real bargain. It’ll be interesting to see what Melody says. 🙂
April 9, 2008 at 10:16 pm #688524I was a little surprised that he went that cheap, even with the minor chips he had, but the blue wizards always seem to go for less.
April 9, 2008 at 10:23 pm #688525I was watching him, I was going to bid but forgot! Congrats, you got a great deal! 😀
April 9, 2008 at 10:29 pm #688526Aww I’m sorry to hear that you forgot about him. If it makes you feel better my max bid was $11.19, so you probably would have out bid me!
He was one of those “I don’t have to have him, but I’ve got a little money in pay pal so I can pay for him if I win” deals.

I don’t think we even have one of those ourselves, they are pretty rare!
April 10, 2008 at 12:07 am #688528Yay, Peg!!! 😀
April 10, 2008 at 12:08 am #688529Wow, what a find! Congratulations!

😯 Wow, I guess I did luck up then. I have to say between the two I think I like the one with the rose sleeves better.
