Awhile back somebody said there was a place you could insure up to #20K worth of Windstones for about $150 a year and now I can’t find it could somebody tell me where or what it was? I just added up the approximate value of my collection it sure does add up fast.
It was me. It is $75 per year per 10k insured. When I went through the web site they declined my application.
I called them and spoke to a broker, we have 4 cars insured with them. I had to send a list (MS Database in Excel) of my collectibles and values and a few pictures.
The insurance actually covers accidental breakage. I know my home owners insurance would not cover them as well and I am where Katrina and Rita hit in 2005.
It is worth it and any time we have had any problems with the cars…you speak to a real person and they take care of the problem right away.
We had a wrong vin number for one of the cars, I faxed them and they took care of everythying.
I wish I could insure my daily driver cars and house with American Collectors, they are fabulous!
Here is the web site. If you get turned down through the website, call and talk to a real person. You can use Rudy and Kaya Eschete as examples if they aren’t sure about your collectibles.
