My wife told me an interesting thing tonight. She has recently injured her leg while running with her dog. While the initial injury wasn’t that bad, she reinjured it tonight. She tells me that she has dislocated it, and refuses to go to the doctor. Even worse she tells me she will continue to make casts of her sculptures, which requires her to move around quickly from peice to piece to get it done before the mixture hardens. Her explanation. Art is more important than health. What do you think?

you won’t be able to make the art if you can’t move because you’ve injured your leg so badly that you can’t put weight on it at all. Get her ass to the hospital and tell her she can finish the art later.

Health is more important than art.

        Purple Spazz Monster … lol

Purplecat, health is more important. You can make your husband help you later (punishment? :P), but take care of yourself now.

Here’s a quote from one of my favorite movies, The Princess Bride.

            Quote:

Count Rugen: Get some rest. If you haven’t got your health, then you haven’t got anything.

muahahaha new name for Purplecat ^^

You may not like the doctors, but you’d better go anyway! -.- and that’s final young lady!

I don’t like the dentist, but I go anyway. Because I KNOW it’s important.

I don’t want my teeth to fall out, you don’t want your leg to fall off! (or something like that)

now, be a resonable woman and make an appointment for tomorrow. Make the hubby go with you 😀

As I tell my twins…. “tough banana noogies!” get that leg taken care of (I don’t like dr.s either…. averaged 3 surgeries a year for 11 years) get to the doctor before it gets worse! The MUM hath spoken *teases* 😆

Ditto. After all, you’ve got your country’s 500th anniversary to plan, your wedding to arrange, your (husband? *lol*) to murder…

*snort* husband to murder indeed. 😈 It’s just a dislocated knee, it will pop back in on it’s own eventually.

Except if you happen to tear something, which then might require surgery.

                    I suggest doctor.

Health is more important than art. Sad fact but, true.
