Hello,
I have two windstone dragons (brown in color) from the mid to late 80’s. Some time ago one of my over anxious house pets knocked something into them. One of the dragons was chipped.
Is there anywhere in particular I could take the dragon to have it repaired. Two chips were taken out of the dragon, however there was no splintering or further flaking. Sadly I do not have the chips that were taken out. I could do the repair myself but would only be able to approximate the painting etc. and I would much rather have them restored to their original condition if possible.
Thanks, hope you can help.
April 1, 2008 at 5:03 am #685520Kyrin is a Forum member who does excellent repairs. You might drop her a PM and some photos, and see what she says. She’s also had good luck with matching paint, although an older piece might prove challenging–I don’t know. Good luck! 🙂

April 1, 2008 at 5:15 am #685522yup…Kyrin does good work…
brown isn’t too hard to fix…I’ve fixed several of those myself…
April 1, 2008 at 5:22 am #685523Once she sees this thread she’ll probably respond or PM you herself 😀 Kyrin is the best I’ve still got four poor broken dragons to send to her, but I’m such a horrible proctrastinator…I’ll do it…Next payday…yeah…
April 1, 2008 at 6:08 am #685524Definatly Kyrin is a good one for repairs. She fixed up my black griffin’s feet when they were shattered while he was being shipped to me. You can see her repair work on him (and a faceless white male dragon) in this thread.
If you’d rather not send them to her I’m sure Kyrin will have some pointers on how to do the repairs yourself.
April 1, 2008 at 1:01 pm #685525Kyrin repaired a very old Old Green Mother Dragon for me. The paint match is perfect. I can not tell where the repair is. She does excellent work.
