Well, after a very lengthy, almost year long, dispute with an old forum member here I had commissioned for some fursuit services… I finally got something in the mail to comparable value of what I had paid so long ago. The only problem is I don’t need two Pearl Mother Griffins. So she is up for trades here for anyone who is interested. If I remember correctly she was $230 in the store, but is now sold out.
What I’m actually looking for is either the brown or black (peacock) female (preferably the brown) and the black sunset sitting chick as the trade. Since they are 144 for the female and 52 for the baby I figured thats a pretty decent trade.
Unfortunately my ex commissioner failed to send me her original box and her felt pad shows some slight dinginess around the edges. Probably from being moved around on a dusty shelf or something. Other then that she’s tip top. I’ll try and get some pictures up if anyone is interested.
I will also entertain other offers of course. The only things I’m really looking currently for though are the Emerald Sitting Spectral, Emerald Peacock Old Warrior, Peacock Sun Dragon, or Red Fire Rising Spectral. I realize the Old Warrior and the Riser are more expensive though so I would also pay the difference of course.
Anywho…just throwing it out there. She’ll probably end up on ebay eventually if I don’t get any bites. Thanks everyone!

Thanks, hopefully I can get the griffins I’m looking for. As far as the person I had the problem with… I paid them more then the 230 the griffin is worth, but at least I’m not completely emptyhanded so I can’t complain.

I just don’t like the sculpt.
I know he’s not mint, but I don’t think he has any chips. Just the missing stone.Here’s the pictures… I suck at pics. He’s missing the stone on his head and he has a tiny chip on one of his toes that someone touched up with gold. I never noticed until I looked him over for you.
He does have a tag, but it is bent and has a removed price tag. I think I can replace it with a dragon I won’t be selling. I don’t think there is anything special about this hang tag. (Its not like the warrior that had the description on it)
Good luck trading the griffin, drag0n. That Spectral looks nice, and I’m sure you could get a replacement jewel from Windstone.
Yea, I actually have a bunch of the jewels already cause a LONG time ago my mom must have bought from the same company or something cause we have a bunch of them in different colors left over from closing the ceramic studio. I know I must have red ones. It’s the claw I am concerned about. What do Emerald Sitting Spectrals go for these days anyway?? I haven’t seen one on ebay in eons so I cant even remember what they’re worth. At least damaged ones anyhow. Hmmmm… I need to think hard about this one.
He is a beaut though! Gah! I’m so torn!

There has only been one non mint emerald spectral since Oct. 2006 and he went for $81. There have been four mint emerald spectrals in that same time. Average price $215.81. I just looked through the rest of the information I have to add to the database and there are no other emerald spectrals to add to the ones that have already sold.
Oh and phoenix would you mind if I used one of your pictures for the database so the emerald spectral has one? I’m trying to pull pictures when I see pieces come up on ebay so I’m not taking all of them from Astal Castle’s Encyclopedia.

I know. I’m just terribly lazy and forgettful 😯
It’s never really been an issue as I wasn’t really looking to sell him. But I do like the white mother griffin and think she would go well with my test paint male. He’s been watching the chicks by himself and he’s getting cranky!…
And feel free to use the pictures! Let me know if you are looking for any other emeralds as I have most except the riser and the emp.
I’m not sure on the price either. 230 sounded about right as they don’t show up very often. Thanks for the info Peg!
